Home of the Bronte sisters

During the recent holidays I decided to have a ride out to Haworth which is the well known home of the Bronte sisters Emily and Charlotte Brontë. The surrounding countryside is truly stunning and the area remains unchanged for generations. Not hard to see where the inspiration for profuse writing skills comes from.

Traditional pub

Well the traditional English pub is a national institution. Timothy Taylors is a traditional English beer brewer and I am partial to the odd pint of it myself. English pubs are dying out every day now partly due to the downturn. To be honest they have been in decline for years. I think this one will be around for a lot longer.

Halloween

I was in Haworth last Halloween and took some pictures as I was passing through. No matter how many times I go it never seems to change much. Summer time will see the village looking like a scene from a Tokyo street as Japanese tourists seem to flood the place on an annual basis. In fact it gets truly cosmopolitan as tourists flock from all corners of the globe.
